Orange Thai Chili Glazed Chicken Wings
Ingredients
1 cup Natalie’s Orange Juice
¼ cup sweet thai chili sauce
¼ tsp chili flakes
1 tbsp cornstarch
1.5 tsp salt
½ tsp pepper
Zest of 1 orange
1-2 lbs chicken wings
3-4 green onions for garnish
1 tbsp sesame seeds for garnish
Directions
1. In a small saucepan combine the Natalie’s Orange Juice, Thai chili sauce, and chili flakes over medium high heat. Bring to a boil.
2. Reduce to medium heat and then sprinkle in the cornstarch. Whisk to combine.
3. Allow the mixture to boil for 5-7 minutes, if it starts to thicken up too much, add in more orange juice (up to ½ a cup extra) to thin it out.
4. Once it’s reduced and thick, like honey, remove from heat and set aside.
5. Preheat your grill to 400 degrees (or grill pan to medium high heat) and grease the grates with cooking oil.
6. Season the chicken wings with salt and pepper then place on the preheated grill.
7. Cook for 4-5 minutes on the first side then flip and brush the glaze on the wings.
8. Continue cooking for another 5 minutes then flip again. Brush the glaze on this side and cook for one more minute.
9. Remove the wings and garnish with sliced green onion, sesame seeds, and extra orange chili glaze on the side.
