Spicy Margarita Marinated Steak Fajitas

Ingredients

1.5 cups Natalie’s Margarita Mix
¼ cup olive oil
¼ cup lime juice
2 tbsp taco seasoning
2 tsp salt (if your taco seasoning has no salt)
¼ tsp chili flakes
1 red bell pepper, halved
1 onion, quartered
1 jalapeno, sliced
2-3 lb flank steak
8-12 flour tortillas
Cilantro for garnish
Halved limes for garnish

Directions

1. Mix the marinade by whisking together the Natalie’s Margarita Mix, olive oil, lime juice, taco seasoning, salt, sliced jalapeno, and chili flakes.
2. Add the steak to a shallow dish and pour the marinade over the steak. Place in the fridge for at least 1 hour up to overnight.
3. When ready to serve, heat the grill to 400 degrees (Or grill pan to medium high heat) and remove the steak from the fridge and set aside.
4. Brush the grill grates or pan with cooking oil, add the bell pepper halves, onion quarters, and 2 halved limes.
5. Grill for 5-7 minutes, then flip them over to cook on the other side for 3-5 minutes until tender.
6. Remove the veggies and set aside.
7. Add the steak to the grill and cook for 5 minutes on the first side. Flip and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes until you reach your desired doneness.
8. Remove the steak and allow it to rest on a cutting board for 10 minutes.
9. While the steak rests, slice the bell pepper and onion into thin slices.
10. Slice the steak and serve on a tortilla layered with the peppers and onions. Top with cilantro and a squeeze of the grilled limes.
